- When does the directory open?
- We're opening the operator side to a small first batch shortly after the platform launch. Customer-side briefs follow once enough operators are listed to make matching meaningful. Join the waitlist for the right side and you'll get a single email when your slot is ready to claim.
- Does Stratumly take a commission?
- No. The directory is free for operators to list on and free for customers to post briefs against. Operators set their own rates and contract directly with customers off-platform. Stratumly's revenue is the platform itself — the customer's seat, the storage, the AI processing — not the booking.
- What does 'verified' mean?
- Before an operator's profile goes live with a verified badge, we check their flight authorisation (CAA Operational Authorisation in the UK, Part 107 in the US, CASA ReOC in Australia, etc.), their insurance, and their stated sensor capabilities. Verification is one-time at listing plus a 12-monthly refresh.
- Do I have to be a Stratumly platform customer to be listed as an operator?
- Not at launch. The directory listing is free and standalone. You'll get the most value from listing if your delivered data flows through Stratumly (because the customer is on Stratumly), but you can be listed without subscribing yourself.
- What sensors and capabilities can I list?
- LiDAR, RGB orthomosaic, thermal, multispectral, photogrammetry, BVLOS, indoor / GPS-denied, and ground survey at launch. If you offer something else (gas detection, magnetometer, hyperspectral) tell us on the waitlist form and we'll add categories as demand surfaces.
- Can customers contact me outside Stratumly?
- Yes, deliberately. Quoting and contracting happen off-platform — the directory's job is to make the introduction, not police the conversation. The platform comes back into the picture when it's time to deliver data.
