Billing, credits, and trial
Stratumly is sold as a per-seat subscription plus consumed AI credits. There is no enterprise contract for the standard SaaS tier; sign up, use it, pay monthly.
14-day no-card trial
Every new organisation gets a 14-day trial with no card required.
- Full Pillar 0 access (asset register, forms, dashboards, spatial analysis).
- Up to 5 seats.
- Trial AI credit allowance so you can run real jobs.
- Pillar 1 (inspection) and Pillar 2 (twin) addons are available on the trial; ask your account contact to enable them.
At day 14, the trial cuts off. You have two options:
- Pay: enter a card at Settings → Billing. Your data and configuration carry over.
- Do nothing: the workspace is read-only for 30 days, then permanently purged. You can re-subscribe at any time during the 30-day retention window and pick up where you left off.
Subscriptions
The base Pillar 0 subscription starts from £300 / month for 5 seats. Additional seats add to the monthly invoice. Pillar 1 and Pillar 2 are addons priced separately.
Manage your subscription at Settings → Billing:
- Change seat count.
- Add or remove an addon.
- Update card details.
- Download invoices.
Only the organisation OWNER can change billing settings.
AI credits
AI runs are billed in credits. One credit costs approximately £0.04 internally. Top-up packs:

Credits never expire. Approximate consumption:
- 10 MP raster processed = 1 credit.
- 2 million LiDAR points processed = 1 credit.
- One open-vocabulary inference (one image, one prompt) ≈ 1 credit.
- One LLM-generated report section ≈ 0.5 to 2 credits depending on length.

Buy credits
- Open Settings → Billing.
- Find the AI credits card.
- Pick a pack and click Top up.
- Confirm via Stripe Checkout.
Credits appear in your balance immediately on successful payment.
Auto top-up
To avoid running out:
- Open Settings → Billing → AI credits.
- Toggle Auto top-up.
- Pick a threshold and a pack size.
When your balance drops below the threshold, the chosen pack is purchased automatically.
Trial credit cap
During the trial, AI credit consumption is capped per-organisation. If you hit the cap before day 14, the trial's AI flows return a clear "trial AI cap reached" error. Top up to keep using AI, or wait until day 14 and pay for the subscription (which raises the cap).
The cap is reviewed periodically to match real trial-usage data. As of June 2026 it is set at 50 credits across the trial period.
Seats
A seat is one user with login access to the organisation. Mobile-only field workers count as one seat each.
- All seats have full access to Pillar 0.
- Inspection and Twin addons are enabled per-organisation, not per-seat.
- There is no "viewer" vs "editor" seat split. Roles control what a user can do; seats just gate access.
Manage seats at Settings → Users. Invite a user to add a seat; the next invoice prorates.
Invoices and payment methods
Invoices generate monthly and are emailed to the organisation's billing email (set at Settings → Organisation → Billing email). Past invoices are downloadable at Settings → Billing → Invoices.
Payment is via Stripe. Cards are processed in Stripe; Stratumly never sees the card number. Update the card at Settings → Billing → Payment method.
Refunds and disputes
If a charge is wrong (failed AI job, accidental top-up, duplicate seat), contact us via Settings → Support or email support@stratumly.com. Trial-cap refunds are netted against the next invoice automatically; ad-hoc refunds are processed within 5 business days.
