Install and sign in

The Stratumly mobile app is for field workers who capture forms, complete work orders, and take GPS-tagged photos. It runs on iOS and Android, works offline, and syncs when the device is back online.

Install​

  • iOS: download from the App Store. Search for Stratumly.
  • Android: download from Google Play. Search for Stratumly.

If your organisation has a TestFlight or Play Internal Testing track, your administrator will send you the invite link instead.

Sign in​

Field workers do not self-sign-up; you must be invited.

  1. Wait for your organisation administrator to send you an invite email.
  2. Open the email on the same device you will use the app on.
  3. Tap the invite link. The app opens to the sign-in screen with your email pre-filled.
  4. Enter the temporary password from the email.
  5. The app asks you to set a new password. Pick one and confirm.

You are signed in. The app downloads your work orders, forms, and feature classes for offline use.

If the app does not open from the email link, install the app first, then tap the link again.

Set up biometric lock​

For shared field devices, you can lock the app behind Face ID, fingerprint, or a PIN. The app stays signed in but requires biometric unlock each time it opens.

  1. Open Settings in the app.
  2. Tap App lock.
  3. Choose your method (Face ID, fingerprint, or PIN).
  4. Confirm with your device's authentication.

To turn it off, return to Settings → App lock and toggle off.

Reset your password​

If you forget your password, the mobile app defers to a web browser:

  1. On the sign-in screen, tap Forgot password.
  2. The default web browser opens to the password-reset page on app.stratumly.com.
  3. Enter your email and follow the reset instructions.
  4. Return to the app and sign in with the new password.

Sign out​

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Tap Sign out.
  3. Confirm.

Sign-out clears the local cache. Next sign-in will re-download work orders and forms.

Two-factor authentication​

If your organisation requires TOTP two-factor:

  1. The first time you sign in, the app shows a QR code.
  2. Open your authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy, 1Password) and scan the QR.
  3. Enter the 6-digit code from the authenticator into the app.

On subsequent sign-ins, the app prompts for the 6-digit code after your password.
