Operator directory

The operator directory is a free public listing of verified drone operators at stratumly.com/operators. Customers browse by region, sensor capability, and industry; operators publish a profile and receive briefs directly from prospective customers. Stratumly takes no commission and no booking fee.

Two audiences use the directory:

  • Customers looking for a drone operator who can deliver a survey deliverable straight into their Stratumly tenant.
  • Operators wanting to be discoverable to those customers.

For customers: find an operator​

  1. Open stratumly.com/operators.
  2. Filter by Country, Industry, Capability (LiDAR / RGB / thermal / multispectral / photogrammetry / BVLOS / indoor or GPS-denied), or Sensor.
  3. Click a listing to open the operator's profile.
  4. On the profile, click Request a brief.
  5. Fill in the form:
    • Your name and email (required).
    • Project summary: at least 100 characters describing what you want flown, the area, the deliverable.
    • Budget range (optional).
    • Timeline (optional).
    • Phone (optional).
  6. Submit. The operator receives the brief in their inbox.

Anonymous submission is allowed (you do not need a Stratumly account to send a brief), but the form is rate-limited per email and per IP to deter spam. If the operator does not reply within 30 days, the brief auto-expires.

If a brief leads to a hired operator, your operator will upload the deliverable into your Stratumly tenant via a project share. Your customer's project becomes the destination; AI processing and twin extraction trigger automatically on upload.

For operators: list your profile​

You need a Stratumly organisation account to list (free trial works). One organisation = one listing.

  1. Open My account → Operator profile.
  2. Click Create profile.
  3. Fill in:
    • Display name and a headline (one-line elevator pitch, max 140 characters).
    • Bio (long-form markdown-light).
    • Profile image (optional).
    • Contact email: routed server-side via the brief flow; never published.
    • Website (optional).
    • Day-rate band: UNDER_500, 500_TO_1000, 1000_TO_2500, or 2500_PLUS.
    • Currency (defaults to GBP).
    • Country (defaults to GB).
    • Industries served: choose from the open vocabulary (utilities, councils, highways, rail, mining, telecoms, construction, ports, environment, agriculture, etc.).
    • Capabilities: LiDAR, RGB orthomosaic, thermal, multispectral, photogrammetry, BVLOS, indoor / GPS-denied.
    • Sensors: the specific drone + sensor kit you fly.
    • Service areas: regions you cover.
    • Certifications: CAA, FAA, CASA, insurance, etc.
  4. Click Save draft.

The profile is in DRAFT state and not yet visible publicly.

Submit for review​

When the profile is complete, click Submit for review. Stratumly staff review the listing (typically within 48 hours) and, on approval, flip you to LISTED. Your profile is now discoverable at stratumly.com/operators/{your-slug} with a Verified badge.

Manage your inbox​

  1. Open My account → Quote requests.
  2. Each brief shows the requester's email, project summary, optional budget and timeline.
  3. Reply (status flips to REPLIED), Convert to a project share (status flips to CONVERTED_TO_SHARE), or Decline.

If you stop accepting work for a while, click Pause listing on your profile. The listing is hidden from public discovery without losing the row. Unpause when you are ready.

Get removed​

If the listing is no longer relevant, Stratumly staff can flip it to REMOVED. The row is retained for audit but is hidden from all public surfaces.

Geographic scope​

UK, Ireland, EU, US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, UAE, Singapore. If your country is not on this list and you would like it added, contact us.
